fab lab
the lab gives users the ability to conceptualize, design, develop, fabricate, and create anything. we welcome people at all levels of experience: a place to learn, play, invent, and create.
hinds hi-steppers
since 1949, the hinds hi-steppers have held a history of excellence serving as one of the oldest precision dance lines in the nation.
student life
you will never be at a loss for something to do on campus. intramural sports, clubs, tailgates, climbing walls, drive-in movies…the list goes on.

it only takes one visit to see what sets hinds community college apart from other colleges. when you schedule a campus visit, you'll be able to meet with a recruiter, get a personal tour of campus, and interact with other students.

campus offerings
academic programs of study
all of our campuses offer a variety of academic courses needed in your first two years of college in order to pursue any bachelor’s degree. students will save an average of $8,000 in tuition costs when they attend hinds cc in their first two years before transferring to a public university!
you can complete the 62 credit hours required to receive an associate of art degree. in addition, we maintain a close relationship with mississippi’s universities to ensure that your credits transfer. be sure to check out the mississippi articulation transfer tool to guide you through academic transfer programs.
Career & Technical programs of study
each of our campuses offers a variety of career and technical programs which provide you with the hands-on training you need for successful employment. these programs are 1-2 years in length and offer a career certificate, technical certificate, or an associate of applied science degree.
graduates of career and technical programs are prepared for immediate employment in their field of study. some career and technical programs will transfer to certain four-year institutions and can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree.

the raymond campus offers housing, athletics, student recreation and intramural sports, student clubs and organizations, an honors program, international study, choir, dance, cheer, a wellness center, and more! we also offer a variety of programs that help you reach your educational and professional goals.
the raymond campus has something for everyone! whether you are living on campus or commuting, there are number of clubs and activities, and we hope you will get involved. throughout the year, students can cheer on the eagles at sporting events or get involved in intramural sports. student can also explore honors and honor societies, student government, departmental clubs, or just have fun at special event such as homecoming and spring fever festivities.

math lab
our math lab offers free math tutoring for our students monday – friday in harris patrick hall. we also have extended lab hours on monday and tuesday evenings. check in the math department for schedule and lab hours.
writing center
located in cain cochran hall, the writing center is free for all hinds students. we offer walk-in tutoring for students in developmental english and reading, as well as english composition i and ii.
