logistics technology program

the logistics technology program prepares students to manage and coordinate the procurement, distribution, maintenance and replacement of material and personnel.


mentoring, counseling, tutoring, and leadership training are all part of the minority male leadership (m2m) experience. in the program, you will work alongside your peers to develop both personally and professionally.

tech nest

need a place to collaborate on a project, help formatting a paper, or figuring out your email? staffed with experts, our tech nest can help you become a successful student.

come for a visit

it only takes one visit to see what sets hinds community college apart from other colleges. when you schedule a campus visit, you'll be able to meet with a recruiter, get a personal tour of campus, and interact with other students.

tours are available by appointment at all six hinds locations. you can schedule your tour by phone or online.

campus offerings

academic programs of study

all of our campuses offer a variety of academic courses needed in your first two years of college in order to pursue any bachelor’s degree. students will save an average of $8,000 in tuition costs when they attend hinds cc in their first two years before transferring to a public university!

you can complete the 62 credit hours required to receive an associate of art degree. in addition, we maintain a close relationship with mississippi’s universities to ensure that your credits transfer. be sure to check out the mississippi articulation transfer tool to guide you through academic transfer programs.


Career & Technical programs of study

each of our campuses offers a variety of career and technical programs which provide you with the hands-on training you need for successful employment. these programs are 1-2 years in length and offer a career certificate, technical certificate, or an associate of applied science degree.

graduates of career and technical programs are prepared for immediate employment in their field of study. some career and technical programs will transfer to certain four-year institutions and can be applied toward a bachelor’s degree.

student life

the jackson campus – academic/technical center has activities that meet both the academic and social needs of our students. as a student, you can participate in intramural sports, special events throughout the year such as welcome week, spring fever, cook-outs and more.

there are also opportunities to join clubs that afford our students with opportunities for growth, character, citizenship, leadership, and social poise.

we offer a wide variety of student services that include advising, counseling, tutoring, and testing facilities. below you will find just a few of the many ways we work to ensure your success at hinds cc.

the early childhood education center provides a healthy learning environment for infants through age four with half day, full day, or weekly rates.

math lab
our math lab is open for students registered in any math course. we offer free tutoring services, proctored testing and computer access for homework assignments.

located in our jobie martin, room 206, the lab is open monday through friday from 8:00am until 3:00pm (except holidays when the college is closed), as well as evening hours advertised per semester. for more information email mathjk@hindscc.edu

single stop
our single stop office offers supportive services to ensure that you have a successful college experience and are able to complete your degree. we provide free referrals to services that can help address the needs of hinds students so that they can remain in school and succeed academically.
